The structure of The Art of Prayer was inspired directly by the intensity and discipline of Army Ranger School.

Not because prayer is a battle.

But because becoming the person capable of carrying greater responsibility requires discipline, resilience, endurance, and commitment.

After leading thirteen 40-Day Devotionals over the course of five years, I created The Art of Prayer for a very specific person:
